The GDA Peer Review and Ethics Program can mediate some complaints about care (not including fee disputes) that a patient may have with GDA member dentist. The GDA can often help dentists and patients resolve complaints without involving either party in legal negotiations. For information about this mediation process, email chandler@gadental.org.
The GDA Executive Office receives several calls every day from individuals seeking a dentist who takes Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids patients. All persons seeking a Medicaid/PeachCare dentist are encouraged to check their Medicaid/PeachCare card or call 1-888-GA-ENROLL (1-888-423-6765) if you do not know the Medicaid health plan in which you are enrolled. If you have questions about a plan, or need a referral to a provider, contact the managed care companies at:

Dental Benefits
Dental insurance is misnamed. Dental benefit is more accurate. It's easy to see why. Dental care is usually predictable, involving primarily checkups and cleanings. It is usually not catastrophic, like a major medical expense. Find information on individual and business dental plans, and the unique dental benefit Direct Reimbursement, by clicking here.
