Information on emergency assistance and property damage claims.
Governor Nathan Deal has issued a State of Emergency for the following Georgia counties in advance of Hurricane Irma's arrival: Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Bryan, Bulloch, Burke, Camden, Candler, Charlton, Chatham, Clinch, Coffee, Echols, Effingham, Emanuel, Evans, Glynn, Jenkins, Jeff Davis, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, Pierce, Screven, Tattnall, Toombs, Treutlen, Wayne and Ware Counties.
This primarily impacts GDA's Southeastern, Central, and Southwestern Districts, but we are aware the storm may also affect areas reaching as far as north Georgia.
We fervently hope that all of our members in these counties weather the storm safely and without damage to their practices or personal property. However, in the regrettable event that you do experience damage or issues, the Georgia Dental Association wants to share the following insurance claims and disaster recovery information with you.
