Legislative Day Agenda

Morning Arrival & Check-In
Kick off the day with your fellow members as we gather under the Gold Dome! Upon arrival, you’ll receive your GDA ties and scarves — a proud symbol of unity and advocacy for Georgia dentistry. This year's color is similar to a "butter yellow." Please feel free to plan attire accordingly.

Recognition in the House & Senate Chambers
Experience the excitement as GDA is formally recognized on the floor of both chambers. This is your moment to see advocacy in action and celebrate the impact of organized dentistry.

Networking Lunch
Join colleagues and GDA leaders for a casual lunch and conversation before heading into afternoon meetings. It’s a great time to connect, share insights, and prepare your key talking points.

One-on-One Meetings with Legislators
Put advocacy into action! Meet directly with your state legislators to discuss the issues that matter most to Georgia dentists and their patients. Your voice makes a difference — this is your chance to be heard.

What to Expect:

LAW Day is the Georgia Dental Association’s annual advocacy event where members and dental students come together to demonstrate the strength and unity of organized dentistry. It is a powerful day of connection, visibility, and influence under the Gold Dome.

Participants will meet face-to-face with legislators, share firsthand insights from the dental community, and showcase the collective impact of GDA members across Georgia. The day also offers a unique opportunity to build relationships, reinforce dentistry’s presence in state policy discussions, and thank legislators for their continued support of oral health initiatives.

Members of the GDA who have taken part in LAW Day over the years have helped position our association as one of the most respected and effective professional voices at the Capitol. Through programs like the Contact Dentist network, members continue to play a vital role in educating decision makers about the importance of oral health access and advocacy.

All members, students, and spouses are encouraged to attend. GDA members will receive 2 in-person Continuing Education credits for their involvement.
