Topic: Hematology Essentials for the Dental Practitioner: Pediatric and Adult Considerations

This one-hour CE session provides dentists with a practical, clinically oriented review of key hematologic conditions relevant to patient care in both pediatric and adult populations. The session highlights common and high‑risk hematologic diseases while offering evidence‑based recommendations for dental modifications, emergency preparedness, and interprofessional coordination with medical teams. By the end of the session, participants will be better equipped to identify risk factors, interpret essential lab values, and deliver safe, effective care to patients with hematologic conditions.
