House of Delegates

What the House of Delegates Does:

The House of Delegates ensures that member voices guide the association’s priorities, from advocacy to governance to professional standards. It’s the forum where decisions that shape the future of dentistry in Georgia are debated and approved.

Duties of the House:

  • Sets GDA policy and approves the legislative agenda.

  • Elects GDA officers, including the President, President‑Elect, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Editor, and Speaker of the House.

  • Represents members statewide, with delegates select from each of GDA’s districts.

  • Meets twice a year, typically in conjunction with major GDA events such as the Annual Meeting
