The Georgia Department of Public Health Coastal Health District is seeking a Dentist to provide and oversee oral health services for school-aged children in urban and rural underserved communities. This position is based in Savannah with travel to Brunswick as needed.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating dental conditions, providing preventive and corrective care, supervising staff, managing program operations, developing community partnerships, and expanding access to school-based tele dental services.
Qualifications: Doctorate/professional degree in dentistry from an accredited college or university, three years of experience at the Dentist 3 level or equivalent, and a current Georgia dental license.
Full-time or part-time options available. Part-time positions are up to 29 hours per week, with no benefits, at $95/hour. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and leave, defined benefit retirement, tuition assistance, and more.
