GDA is advocating for Georgia dentists as dental insurance policies continue to change in ways that can affect how practices receive reimbursement.

Recent policies from Delta Dental of California and Aetna restricting access to paper checks raise concerns about dentists’ ability to choose the reimbursement method that works best for their practices. Georgia law protects healthcare providers’ ability to choose a fee-free reimbursement option, and GDA is working with the ADA to support meaningful dental insurance reform.

Make Your Voice Heard

Dentists can help bring attention to these policies by sending letters directly to the insurance companies and to Georgia’s Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire.
