Event Details

This interactive lecture and hands-on course will be restricted to 24 participants supported by one instructor and three clinical assistants. The final two hours will be practical hands-on application of concepts learned during the course. This course is one of only three currently approved by the Georgia Board of Dentistry.

The purpose of this course is to educate licensed dentists, licensed dental hygienists, and dental assistants practicing in Georgia so that they may be qualified to perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures on patients pursuant to the requirements established by O.C.G.A. § 43-11-23, and Georgia Board of Dentistry Rule 150-9-.01.

IMPORTANT:
  • All attendees, including non-dentists, must have an account with the GDA. Anyone without an account must create one prior to registering. You can do so by going to gadental.org, in the bottom left corner there is a Create a Free Account button. Follow the links to create an account, you do not have to be a dentist to have an account. Do this BEFORE registering. 
  • When creating an account, you must select your Dentist’s name or Practice/Company in the Parent Member field.
    • This is required for discounts to apply during group registration.
    • If you are registering multiple people at once, this is also required for them to selected.
