Your practice space is more than where you work. It's one of the largest financial decisions you'll make, and it can either build long-term wealth or quietly work against you. Join us for a practical discussion with Ed Pease, Founder of NU Real Estate Advisors, and Jason Price of NextSite Consulting, on how to find the right space, own it on the right terms, and make it a source of long-term value for your practice and your future. Whether you're leasing and paying down someone else's building, or you own a space that no longer fits where your practice is headed, the right real estate move can turn that decision into an asset.
Key Takeaways
1. Understand the Value of Real Estate Ownership
Learn how owning your practice property can build equity, provide greater operational control, and create an additional asset for your long-term financial and exit strategy. Over time, that real estate can become a source of wealth in its own right, not just a line on the balance sheet.
2. Identify the Right Market and Location
Discover how patient demographics, competition, visibility, accessibility, traffic patterns and future development can affect the performance of a dental practice.
3. Avoid Costly Site-Selection Mistakes
Gain practical guidance for evaluating opportunities, validating a location before committing, and assembling the right team to support a successful acquisition or development.
4. Turn Your Real Estate Into Long-Term Wealth
See how to solidify what your practice real estate is actually worth, and how deliberate ownership decisions can build net worth over time, so the building works as a wealth-building asset alongside the practice and not just space you pay for.

Jason Price (Founder of Next Site Consulting)
Jason Price is the founder of NextSite Consulting, an independent advisory firm that helps dental practice owners evaluate the financial impact of real estate decisions before they relocate, expand, purchase, or develop a practice. NextSite was founded on the belief that the best real estate decisions begin with understanding the numbers - not just the property.
With more than 20 years in the dental industry, Jason has spent the last decade advising hundreds of dentists on practice real estate decisions, including relocations, lease negotiations, land acquisitions, building purchases, practice expansions, and new office developments. Through those experiences, he has seen firsthand how facility decisions affect a practice's operations, long-term value, profitability, and the personal wealth of its owners.
Those experiences revealed a consistent gap in the marketplace. Dentists often receive excellent advice from brokers, lenders, architects, contractors, CPAs, attorneys, and transition advisors, but rarely have someone focused exclusively on how those decisions fit together financially. Jason founded NextSite Consulting to bridge that gap by providing independent analysis before major real estate commitments are made.
Today, Jason helps practice owners evaluate ownership opportunities through real estate valuation, lease-versus-ownership analysis, financial modeling, facility planning, and transition strategy. His presentations translate complex financial concepts into practical insights that help dentists make more confident long-term decisions.
