Georgia Mission of Mercy

Restoring Smiles. Changing Lives.

Georgia Mission of Mercy (GMOM), organized by the Georgia Dental Association Foundation, provides free dental care to underserved and uninsured adults across Georgia. Volunteer dental professionals deliver critical services, relieving pain and infection while supporting lasting oral health.

Who We Serve

GMOM helps adults who are uninsured, underinsured, or unable to afford dental care. Many patients have delayed treatment for years due to cost or lack of access. Care is provided at no cost and prioritized based on clinical need.

Services Provided

At each GMOM event, volunteers may offer:

  • Dental exams and consultations

  • Cleanings and preventive care

  • Fillings and basic restorative treatment

  • Extractions and limited oral surgery

  • Urgent and pain-relief care

Services vary by event depending on patient need, available volunteers, and resources.
