Georgia Dental Insurance Services Promotes Michele Amatulli to COO
MARIETTA, July 16, 2026 — Georgia Dental Insurance Services (GDIS), the insurance agency of the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), has promoted Michele Amatulli to Chief Operating Officer. In her new role, Amatulli oversees the agency's operations, strategic partnerships, business development, and growth initiatives.
Prior to her being named COO, Amatulli served as Vice President of Insurance and Strategic Alliances. During her tenure, she expanded the agency's insurance portfolio, cultivated key industry relationships, increased non-dues revenue opportunities, and oversaw GDIS's endorsed partner and sponsorship programs. Her contributions helped expand insurance solutions and strengthen the value GDIS delivers to dental professionals throughout Georgia.

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Amatulli brings extensive expertise in employee benefits, commercial insurance, strategic planning, and relationship management. She is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance and holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
