On May 21, 2020 the CDC posted updates to its Guidance for Dental Settings: Interim Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for Dental Settings During the COVID-19 Response.
GDA Member Advisory on Governor Kemp’s May 12 Executive Order
On Tuesday, May 12, Governor Kemp issued Executive Order 5.12.20.02 (the “May 12 Executive Order”), which extended his directives applicable to dentistry in his Executive Order 4.23.20.02 from 12 AM on May 14 through 11:59 PM on May 31. Pursuant to the May 12 Executive Order, Georgia licensed dentists may continue to provide their full scope of treatment during the effective date of the order but shall continue to adhere to the following:
